Publisher review:The Database Doctor was originally written in 1997 to manage text file databases for use with Selena Sols webstore. The Database Doctor manages and displays text file databases of any field size. This powerful script can easily be used for a directory of addresses, products, or any list you can imagine. The display script is very customizable, but automated so that it works right out of the box as well.
The Database Doctor features include column settings for required fields, unique fields, data types, default input and more. Easy forms for adding new items, preview, editing, deleting, search, sort by field, and will even prepare a page of your data for printing.
Searches performed in the front end script are done with get or post, have any or all text searching capability, and can be limited to search only in one specific column. You set the limit on how many results are displayed on each page, with links to the next results. Results are displayed in HTML that you can customize easily, or can be created by the script itself.
